How VA Entitlement Works

VA entitlement = 25% of the county loan limit. Bonus entitlement is what remains after any currently charged amount. A lender can loan up to 4× your available entitlement with no down payment required.

Entitlement Required = County Loan Limit ÷ 4. This is the base guarantee VA provides to the lender.
